Shannon Scott has explored the coastlines of Georgia & South Carolina for over 30 years, and it is all “Off-The-Beaten-Path” plus stuff! As Savannah is so close to Beaufort County, it is truly a perfect place to launch deep explorations of either State! Simply specify which literal State you want to see! These tours include some breathtaking stops, and per Shannon’s specialty, the strange and bizarre are always mixed in! You’ll see multiple historic sites, cemeteries, naturalist sites and historic ruins, and it can incorporate The Tree Graveyard on Hunting Island if you choose the Beaufort County trip. When desired, we’ll dine on Gullah-Geechee or incredible coastal cuisine! Just inquire! Start times are negotiable, but early morning is best. Shannon takes his time with these tours, so when he says “full day,” he means full day, and he is the absolute King of Wanderlusters to maximize your adventure! So, if you have a specific time-frame please let him know in advance, or just enjoy the adventure because once you’re on Shannon’s story train, you’re in for the time of your life, so be open to what it is!
Due to the scope, the tour must go by vehicle, and it is an “IN & OUT” type tour, ideal for up to six people or however many you’re carrying in your vehicle(s). Generally, Shannon picks you up in “The Buzzard Mobile” at your vacation rental or hotel, and we go from there. Feel free to inquire further about transport specifics.
