A great tour where we got to learn so much about the history of Savannah and the site itself peppered with some dark and interesting anecdotes, in a hauntingly beautiful setting.It is a unique tour because we were the only people in the cemetary after hours. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and respectful of the historical significance but also had her pulse on what was the more popular spots were for good photo ops. All in all a very unique way to spend two hours (Add in 15 min each way for the commute if you are staying in the city).

A cemetery tour? At first I was a little skeptical when our local trip planner recommended it. Then i found that that Tauck Tours ( hgh end) includes Bonaventure in their Savannah itinerary. Very happy we decided to take this tour Our tour guides nom de plume was "Lady in Mourning" and she has a true love for the cemetery its history and its symbolism. We appreciated how she was able to convey this feeling and knowledge to us. Every city has a uniqueness and Bonaventure is that for Savannah. An excellent compliment to a history of Savannah walking tour.

Shannon’s Good and Evil Tour is an intimate experience delivered by a master communicator who actually knew many of the characters in the book. It really brings the characters in the book to life. Highly recommended.

Had a tour with Mr. Lazarus Bone today. Great stories linked to the Colonial cemetery in Savannah. A lot of which links stories I’ve heard from other tours around town. By far, Shannon’s teams have the most in-depth research of the local celebrities in the cemeteries. Highly recommend. And this is my 3rd tour with Shannon’s team.
