Defining himself, not as resident of Savannah but “A citizen of The Low Country,” Shannon has spent 32 years traveling and scouring the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida for stories that have become the joy of others. Stories are his mysticism, and conjuring them has made him a shaman of a kind. Hence his respectful borrowing of the moniker, Dr. Buzzard, The Lowcountry’s most legendary and controversial root man. Thus, every story ronin has his steed and that be The Buzzard Mobile, which carries him and his passengers on all of his Private Tour excursions.
