Quick Details
Famed Gettysburg Battlefield sculptor called the Little Gracie statue “my life’s finest work.” He felt closest to the statue, perhaps, because he was fatherless, and Gracie Watson had become the closest thing he had ever known to a child of his own. And she loved him. In the end, he created a hauntingly beautiful, living artwork that — in many ways — has become the spiritual face of Savannah! Each year, Gracie’s fans gather on her birthday to celebrate this creation and the child that was Little Gracie! Attendees receive commemorative, signed poster art!
